Time saver for ETT field operators

ETT Rotterdam (one of VTTI’s many terminals) specializes in fuel oil and middle distillates. In addition to huge storage capacity, this location offers smooth connections by truck, rail, and Europe’s pipeline system. For the Field form operators, until recently, reports were still done by filling in paper documents. For a gain in time savings and user-friendliness for the operators, we developed an application with a link to their Atlas database. Tablet devices were chosen. By means of a P.O.C. (wireframes), a test was done beforehand to map out the necessary requirements via a customer journey. In this way, we developed an application with a design that made the switch from paper to digital for the operator a matter of course.
